Savina Lane Wines
Quality, single estate, emerging variety wines made from hand-picked fruit grown on their Granite Belt vineyard.
Some cellar doors feel like a transaction. Savina Lane feels like an afternoon at a friend’s place, if that friend happened to grow extraordinary wine on a spectacular Granite Belt vineyard.
Owners Brad and Cheryl are warm, welcoming, and deeply passionate about what they do. They’ve built something genuinely special here: a single-estate winery dedicated to some emerging varieties, known locally as Strange Bird wines. Think Fiano, Manseng, Graciano, Tempranillo and Montepulciano, alongside Shiraz and Syrah from vines that are over 70 years old and among the oldest still standing on the Granite Belt. And the wines? They’re absolutely divine.
When we visited, we strolled through the vineyard, glass in hand, then snacked on cheese and crackers while looking out over the vines in one of those unhurried afternoons you don’t plan but always remember. Brad and Cheryl have even written a cookbook, Other People’s Kitchens, which tells you everything you need to know about how they approach food and wine: with curiosity, generosity, and very good taste.
Twice a year, we look forward to six wines delivered straight to our door.
