Blue Wren Cottage
Blue Wren Cottage is located at Ballandean on the Queenslands Granite Belt.
It’s a beautiful historical cottage with 2 ensuite bedrooms, lovely linen and towels and comfy beds.
The cosy lounge room has an open fireplace, and this really is the centre peace of the cottage. Wait till you see it!
If you are not into open fires or visit during the warm months there is also reverse cycle air conditioning.
The two outdoor areas are great to sit back and relax, have a cuppa, graze on local produce, sip a wine, soak up some sun, or watch the local wildlife and sunset.
The kitchen is more a kitchenette as advertised but it’s perfectly fine to cook up a meal, although there is no traditional oven.
For those in need, the wifi is included and it’s a fast connection if you need to get some work done.
And as hard as it to leave, the location is perfect to explore the southern Granite Belt, Ballandean and Giraween National Park.
Wander down the road to the little hamlet of Ballandean, with restaurant, cellar door, hotel, baker/store and service station.
